- Don't get a tattoo: Fashion is all about change, tattoos are permanent, having a tattoo can't help you get a mainstream modeling job, and it’s more likely to stop you getting hired.
- Don't get pierced: Pierced ears are ok, but piercing in your face will cut down the work you will be offered, maybe to zero. A pierced navel is so 1990s; your belly-button is pretty enough as it is.
- Don't smoke: Tobacco is poison, pure and simple, it will kill you in the end, and in the meantime it will ruin your skin and make your breath and clothes smell.
- Don't take drugs: Illegal drugs are everywhere and, whatever you think of them, they won't improve your health and they will damage your looks.
- Go easy on alcohol: Alcohol is a dangerous drug but at least it's legal, don't drink too much because, again, it's bad for your health and your looks.
- Don't get a boob job: Breast implants often just don't look right and the chances of having a successful operation are definitely not 100%. Implants don't last a lifetime so if you have breast enlargement surgery you are committing yourself to unknown expense for years to come.
- Don't mess up your eyebrows: Eyebrows are an important facial feature; don't pluck them away to anything. Decide on a shape (not too thin) that suits your face and then just pluck enough to maintain it. If your eyebrows are already over plucked, let them grow for a while and start again. Here are some eyebrow plucking tips, and a good example: Kate's beautiful eyebrows!
- Don't mess up your hair: To do coloring and perming properly requires skill and experience, if you can't afford to get it done professionally don't try and do it yourself, just get a good cut and keep your hair in good condition. Nice, well cared-for hair is something a model must have.
- Be prepared to get up in the morning: Many modeling assignments will start early to take advantage of early morning light or to avoid crowds, so don't moan if you are offered a job that means you have to get up early.
- Eat good food: Models need to be slim, fit and well-toned but this doesn't mean you have to starve yourself. Eat healthy natural food including plenty of fruit and vegetables. Sweets, chocolate and biscuits are the worst things you can eat so cut down on them as much as you can. Don't bother with gimmicky dieting products.
- Take exercise: Models have to be prettier, fitter and healthier than the general population, so you should find a form of exercise that you enjoy but that doesn't damage, strain or bruise your body. Dancing is one of the best forms of exercise there is, so take dance classes if you can, this may also help you get work by helping you move gracefully.
- Don't spend hundreds of pounds on photographs: if you have any potential as a model you won't need to spend hundreds of pounds to get some initial portfolio pictures. You should be able to...
What is HoneyHoney is a natural sweet, thick sugary solution produced by honeybees. Honeybees collect the nectar or sweet juices from blossoms. It also can get from the secretion of living parts of plants or, excretions of plant sucking insects on the living parts of plants. With their tongues, the honeybees suck out the nectar and keep it in sacs with these sweet juices, the honeybees fly back to their hive, store and leave in the honeycomb to ripen and mature. Honey is primarily composed of glucose, fructose and water. It also contains special enzymes, vitamin, amino acids, ash and mineral. (Enzyme that honeybees produce turn the sucrose-a disaccharide- into glucose and fructose (monosaccharide)). Table sugar contains same basic units as honey, is glucose and fructose. Granulated table sugar has glucose and fructose hooked together. Whereas in honey, fructose and glucose remain in individual units. Fructose is sweeter than glucose, that is a reason fructose is used in many food product. However, fructose does not convert to energy as efficiently as glucose. Besides this, honey contains nearly all of the trace elements that human needs. It is also free of fat, cholesterol and sodium. Honey comes in different types of colors and flavors. The color and flavor of honey depends on the how old the honey is and the kind of flavor that the nectar source was extracted from. The color of honey ranges from light brown to dark brown. The flavor varies from delectably mild to distinctively bold. In general, lighter colored honeys are mild in flavor, while darker honeys are more robust in flavor. History of HoneyThe history of honey is rich in tradition. This ancient substance has been used for food, drinks, medicine, barter, cosmetics, cooking, food preservation, art, etc. It has been used in religion, mythology, legends and literature as well as studied by scientists. The oldest written reference to the use of honey is thought to be Egyptian, about 5500 BC. At that time Lower Egypt was called Bee Land while Upper Egypt was Reed Land. History has recorded that ancient Egypt used honey as the medicine while in the First World War. Honey mixed with cod liver oil were used to treat soldier's wound. The use of honey was taken to India by Aryan invaders and became associated with religious rites. Honey is also mentioned on ancient submarine clay tablets, possibly even older than the Egyptian reference. Later Babylonian tablets give recipes for "electuaries" - medicine based on honey. An electuary mentioned in the 1st century AD by the Roman writer Pliny the Elder included powdered bees. It was said to be a cure for dropsy and bladder stones. In 1800, some archaeologists working in Egypt found a large jar of honey. They opened it and found that it tasted perfect even thought it was thousands of years old. Honey is also mentioned in the holy book for moslems, the Koran, while the great Napoleon was also used the bees as a symbol of his empire. Benefits of HoneyBee have inhabited this world for more than 42 million years and it has not been infected by virus or bacteria. It is naturally known as " King of Nature". Indubitable, honey is an excellent food and medicine. Honey is considered the only food that includes all the substance necessary to sustain life. Honey has potent antiseptic and antibacterial qualities. Its antiseptic properties inhibits the growth of certain bacterial and helps keep external wounds clean and free from infection. Its antibacterial properties prevent infection and functions as an anti-inflammatory agent, reducing scarring, swelling and pain. The fact is, more and more as researches are turning up incredible evidence of honey's medical benefit in all directions. Research shows that :
Honey also can be use in beauty industry. Because honey is a strong anti-inflammatory agent that prevents infections and reduces the existing ones when applied on problem, blemish or sensitive skin. It also has antibacterial properties used for preparation of body scrub recipes that cleanse the body and leave it bacteria free. In general, honey is effective in beautifies and soothes the skin, clears many skin disorders. Besides this, honey also can be replace with table sugar for who was in diet. Because honey is fat free and natural sweetener. Fructose and glucose plays an important role in processing fatigue during exercise and are quickly absorbed by the body. The developer of the diet, Mike Mc Innes, a Scottish pharmacist, who discovered that the athletes eating foods rich in fructose( such as honey) burnt more fat and had increase stamina. Honey has also been found to keep levels of blood sugar fairly constant compared to table sugar. |
What is Bee PupaBee larvae (5-6 days old) and bee pupa (8-14 days old) are the "child" forms of honeybee. They starts the life as an egg which is laid by the queen in the wax cell of a hive. During its 14 days as a pupa, it was sealed in a capped cell and grows into a worker (female) bee, emerging on the 20th day. Worker bees build the comb from wax extruded from glands under their abdomen. They clean, defend and repair the hive. They gather nectar, pollen and propolis to feed the larvae, the queen and the drones. They also ventilate, cool and heat the hive. In China, people have long eaten bee larvae. Also, in particular areas of Japan (Nagano, Gifu and Yamanashi Prefectures). People locate the honeycomb by an original method and dig it from underground to find bee larvae as a source of food, from the ground wasp (or black hornet). People take it as source of food because bee pupa was high in protein and carbohydrate. Bee pupa also analyzed for moisture, protein, ash, fiber, fatty acids, amino acids, fat, minerals and vitamins. While low in calcium, bee pupa was a good source of phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and the trace minerals such as iron, zinc, copper and selenium. In addition, bee pupa contained more of the fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E), it also was a good source of most the B-vitamins as well as vitamin c and choline. Benefit of Bee PupaProfessor Ri Junsei of Beijing Medical University, Chinese and Western Medical Science Research Laboratory used bee larva powder to show the following effects : Maintains and improves total mental function.
There are also other reported cases of the following additional effects:

What is Bee PollenBee Pollen is one of nature's healthiest and most powerful " superfoods". Bee Pollen is the male seeds of a flower blossom which has been gathered by the worker bees and to which special elements from the bees has been added. The bees collected and stored the pollen in their hives. It is collected on the legs of bees and formed into granules as they move from the flower to flower looking for nectar. The bees secrete nectar and special enzymes into the flower pollen to create what we know as "bee pollen". The pollen is usually collected by placing a special device at the entrance of the beehives that brushes it from the hind legs of the bees into a collection vessel. Bee Pollen contains most of the known nutrients, including all of those necessary for human survival. It is rich in minerals and vitamins, including calcium, magnesium, manganeses, patassium, zinc, riboflavin, thiamin and vitamins A, B6, C, D, E and K. Because of its B vitamin complex, bee pollen is often used to increase energy and vitality. Athletes often use bee pollen for endurance, strength, stamina and mental clarity. It also contains biotin, a vitamin that is important for the skin, hair and nails. Bee pollen also provides protein, essential oils, essential amino acids, flavonoids and carotenoids, which are important for the synthesis of vitamins A in the body. Health Benefits of Bee Pollen

What is Bee Venom Bee venom, also called "Apitoxin" which is made up of enzymes, proteins and amino acids. Bee venom is produced in the venom gland of female bees (workers and queens) from the time they are 14 days old and stored in their venom sac (0.3mg per bee). It is a bitter colorless clear liquid, with a sweet taste and little bitter. Bee venom is soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol and ammonium sulphate. Apitoxin is acidic. It is similar to snake venom and nettle toxin. Apitoxin can be deactivated with ethanol. Bee Venom Properties and Composition Bee venom peptides have systemic action: anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-pyretic, stimulating vascular permeability. Bee venom also has been proven that is a strong immunological agent and stimulates the body's protective mechanisms against disease. There are different mechanisms of bee venom action in the body, indirectly through hormone system and directly on cardiovascular system. Bee venom is a unique multi-component complex, which contains about 30 biologically active compounds, some of which are practically impossible to get synthesized by chemical methods. The main anti-inflammatory pharmacological components are peptides : melittin, apamin, peptide 401, adolapin and protease inhibitors. Bee Venom Therapeutic Bee venom has multiple effects on the body:

About Beeswax Beeswax is the material used by honeybees in the construction on their combs. Normally beeswax is produced by young worker bees between 12-17 days old in the form of thin scales secreted by glands on the ventral surface of the abdomen. However some older bees can produce wax, dependant upon the state of their wax gland development. During the winter for example, physiological growth maybe considerably retarded so that the glands develop slowly or not at all. The wax scales are scrapped off by one of the hind legs and moved to the first pair of legs (forelegs). A foreleg transfers the scale to the mandibles where it is masticated and then applied to the comb. It is estimated that bees must consume 6-8 pounds of honey to produce one pound of beeswax. Pure beeswax, normally is in pale yellow color, is sometimes nearly white and the different in color is depend to pollen consumed by the bees. The beeswax have very stable property. Its chemical characteristic keeps unchanged even long time replacement, it is resistant to hydrolysis and nature oxidization and is completely insoluble in water, less digestive acids or juices can dissolve of it except larvae of wax moth. Being a nature lipid that contains in various of hydrocarbons, acids or hydroxyl-acids, alcohols and pigment which comes from pollen and propolis, its stable property is very welcome. The uses of beeswax are many. Some major uses of beeswax are cosmetics and candle making. Some minor uses are lotions, cold creams, ointments, salves, lipsticks, rouges, coatings for electrical apparatus, floor and furniture polishes, leather polishes, art and craft items, crayons, inks. Besides this external use, beeswax also offers many medical benefit as below :

What is PropolisPropolis is another valuable and healthy gift from bees. Propolis is a natural resin from buds of conifer and poplar trees that create by bees to build their hives. It is also sticky glue that bees use to seal hive hole or cracks. This natural glue is cleverly utilized by the bees to provide exterior protection to the hive against the invasion of any outside contaminants. Normally propolis is dark brown color, but it can be found in green , red, black and white hues, depending on the sources of resin found in the particular hive area. Propolis consists of resins, waxes, volatile oils, pollen, vitamin A, B complex, E, minerals and highly active ingredients known as flavonoids or bioflavonoids. Other components include cinnamic acids, vanillin, caffeic acids, pinocembrin, tetochrysin, chrysin, isalpinin, galangin and ferulic acids. Propolis is a natural antibiotic that has no such side effects. It work against harmful bacteria without destroying the friendly bacteria the body needs. Propolis has also been proven effective against strains of bacteria that resist chemical antibiotics. In laboratory tests, propolis also has exhibited a variety of interesting antimicrobial and anti-tumor properties. The antioxidant, antimicrobial and antifungal activities of propolis also offer opportunities in food technology and cosmetics. It is apparent, that propolis incontestably has many nutritional and energy benefits. Health Benefit of PropolisNew scientists indicate that propolis shows an incredible results as below :
History of PropolisPropolis is derived from the Greek words pro ("before") and polis ("city"), and refers to the observation made by beekeepers in ancient times that bees often a wall of propolis at the front entrance of their colony (i.g : before the city). The city here is hive of the bees. Propolis has been known and used by men since ancient times. Egyptians, Greeks and Romans reported the use of propolis for general healing qualities and for the cure of some lesions of the skin. The Greeks using propolis for treating wounds as well as "incurable diseases". The ancient Greek physician, Hippocrates, often called the " father of modern medicine", prescribed propolis for the healing of sores and ulcers, both internal and external. For Egyptians, propolis was used for a variety of diseases. They also used propolis to embalm bodies. Romans also revered the bee and propolis extensively. The Roman Scholar Pliny wrote chapters on the use of resins such as propolis in his book, National History. He describes the ablities of propolis to reduce swelling, soothe pain and heal sores. |
WHAT LEADS TO ERECTILE DYSFUNCTIONS?
- Psychological Causes: Certain feelings can interfere with normal sexual function, including feeling nervous about or self-conscious about sex; feeling stressed either at home or at work; or feeling troubled in your current relationship. In these cases, psychological counseling with you and your sexual partner may be successful.
- Physical (Organic) Causes: Often, one can restore sexual health by treating a condition such as high blood pressure with diet and/or exercise or by controlling diabetes or other chronic diseases. Nutritional states, including malnutrition and zinc deficiency, may be associated with erectile dysfunction and can also be treated with diet.
- Medications: Medications used to treat other medical disorders may cause erectile dysfunction. If you think erectile dysfunction is caused by a medication, talk with your doctor about drugs that might not cause this side effect.
- Surgical Causes: Surgery in the pelvic area may injure the nerves and the arteries near the penis, resulting in erectile dysfunction.
- Traumatic Causes: Trauma or injury to the penis and/or the pelvic blood vessels and nerves is another potential factor in the development of erectile dysfunction.
